I just had the pleasure of seeing Haley Jensen from our Young Living corporate group share about an oil that I have a longed for, for four long years, blue tansy.
I’m SO excited to finally have my hands on this oil! In my 4 years with YL, I’ve always wanted this oil but it’s never been in stock. EVER! It’s in stock now, and if you’re lucky enough to be part of the YL Winter Rally, you may have your hands on this Oil right now too!
Let me just let you know – these bottles are REALLY FULL. OK?
So be very careful when you hold that bottle up to your nose… to take in that smell… for the very first time. Don’t let your zeal overtake you. Or else you may end up like me and accidentally, literally SNORT some oil out of the bottle. Haha! Yep!!!! If you’ve seen me unbox White Light, you have no doubt I’m telling the truth!
In case you DO accidentally suck blue tansy up your nostril, (but even if ya don’t) it’s good to know – THE BLUE – ITS FOR REALZ!
Also good to know – it does fade from skin **looks at watch** in about 10-15 minutes.
(Haley suggests diluting blue tansy when you use this oil on your face for the first time)
And another tip… Fight oil WITH oil! I shared this tip in a blog when I accidentally stained a white shirt I love with Peace & Calming. I used Lemon essential oil, Thieves cleaner and detergent booster to get the stain out of my shirt! So just know you can try those options if you need to. Lemon should be fine for skin as long as you keep that skin out of the sun for 8 hrs after using!
MAN! I have to see people here soon. I might need to whip out the lemon YLEO!
Blue tansy smells divine, by the way. Like if German Chamomile had a soft, sweet smelling cousin… I learned these two ARE actually related. Tansy and Chamomile are part of the same family! #YLUnites
Hayley also shared that the tansy flowers are yellow or white, but the oil turns this deep jewel toned blue when it’s steam distilled because of its main chemical constituent, chamaluzene.
Blue tansy is so highly desired, it was endangered there for a minute (thus out of stock for 4 yrs.) but Young Living has secured a grower & farm in Morocco that meets & exceeds our standards, so we’re happy to say, we’ll have blue tansy from a sustainable source! Thank you Young Living for being responsible stewards of Earth’s gifts!
And that’s welcome news, because blue tansy is used Peace & Calming and Valor, as well as a few other personal care products…
Remember that one time… when Valor was out of stock? (OMG, LIKE 10?!?) Or Peace & Calming?!
Blue tansy is supposed to be amazing for skin, so I can’t wait to see for myself! Besides on my nose… I’ll be glad to report on blue tansy’s affect on sore muscles. I’m really looking forward to my new relationship with blue tansy!
I expect blue tansy to be on a one per account/per month restriction, but if you can grab ONE then don’t worry… one bottle will last you a long, long, LONG TIME!
