Wow. This was a Facebook post on Anointed by Abba that I stuck into the blog drafts on 1/20/15 – almost 3 years ago. I’ll be back to update the dickens out of this subject! I’ve gone from timidly defending the MLM to proudly standing up for the entrepreneur, and boldly calling out big business and big government, by removing my dollars from their fat pockets! Email us if you’d like to know about earning an income with Young Living. There are no other income earning opportunities of this magnitude for just $160. Start already! bit.ly/GetUrKit
‘So the MLM bothers you. (Multi-level marketing) I understand. I didn’t like that either. I used these oils at retail price, because I love them, and six months later I signed up for the discount and loved them even more. Another six months later and I am still so excited about all I’ve learned, all there is yet to learn, and I’m excited about the incredible things they do for my life. People end up asking me about them!
So, Kim and I started this page (she’s loved oils a long time before this) and that’s how it happened… I’m sharing the information I wish everyone knew. Please know you’re NEVER required to promote or sell these oils as a member of Young Living!
Recently I heard about the MLM side of this in another light, as an entrepreneurship. I think about that differently now, too. If you have a gym membership or buy big chain company products, you are supporting those companies because you want what they have. Why not support people you know? Just like a local business. The products are amaaaazing. If they weren’t, I wouldn’t put my name and my neck out there… There’s so many reasons for the ‘buzz’ you’re hearing about essential oils, and it’s not going to go away, it’s going to become the norm.
Please do yourself a favor and research essential oils. They’ve been around for thousands of years, before man made things, and in my opinion both should have a place in today’s world. As a society we are also missing out on a ton of natural and safe products that we’ve replaced with chemicals and synthetics that aren’t as effective or good for our bodies. In fact, many are bad for us.
Unfortunately, there are hundreds of chemicals that have been banned around the world that we keep happily pumping into things we use every day here in the US. I’ve asked myself over and over, “When will ‘they’ stop making ‘crap’?” The answer is when we stop buying it. I am choosing to be a part of the shift.’
