This concoction is a collaboration with my friend & sponsor, Tracey Campbell of TLC One Drop At A Time. People are asking for this family sized fall scent foaming soap recipe again, because they love the designer scent AND the huge size bottle–14 oz!! (Supplies are linked below) 😉 I’ll let you know the additional ingredients used (besides YLEO) are:
♥2 Tbls Dr. Bronner’s baby castile soap
♥1 tsp vitamin E or jojoba oil
♥carefully fill the rest of the way with clean water
♥And 1 capful Thieves cleaner (optional)
The oils used for this particular scent are pictured below in our Bath & Body Iced Gingerbread Redo pic.
In this bath & body iced gingerbread redo version, I simply got rid of what was in the bottle and washed the pump out well. I refilled the bottle with R/O water plus:
1 tbsp Dr. Bronner’s baby soap
6 drops Thieves
and a tsp homemade vanilla! YUM!
So in the 14 oz XL version up top, we just added another TBSP of the Dr. Bronner’s, plus optional vitamin E or Jojoba oil and the optional Thieves cleaner! Scroll down for a printable label and bottle options. 🙂
I’ll let you in on a little secret… if you have Young Living Essential Oils, you can’t make a bad fall scent! Use any oil combinations you want, but please do not buy them off a store shelf! For information on WHY click here: here: Everything you need to know! Scroll for quality… It is really important.
Just reminding you that DIY hand soap is THE most simple, safe and effective way to remove things like hormone disruptors from our bodies, homes and our water supply. I bet a lot of folks still don’t realize how much illness is tied to these products we blindly buy off the shelf. I’m a huuuuge fan of limiting the dollars that go to big corporations like Johnson & Johnson, who prove time and time again that they can not be trusted with our best interests at heart. They don’t deserve our money and we do vote with our dollars. every. single. day.
In case you weren’t aware, Young Living Essential Oils have many properties that benefit people the same way the do plants like protecting it from viruses and fungi for starters. Making your own soap is just one of hundreds of ways to switch from chemical laden crap you’d buy at CVS for simple, safe, effective products you can make at home for less money. Are we tired of being sick yet?!?
Here’s a basic soap tutorial in case you don’t believe how easy it is. Try to guess where I paused and had vodka? LOL
Would you like to be a part of the shift away from lab-created junk, and toward all that is instinctively good? DUIT!!! Join Young Living as part of the Anointed By Abba team. We are helping to change statistics, friends!
