Hopefully, you graduate to better and better foods for yourself and your family as you get wiser. 🙂 I don’t think I’ve had canned jellied cranberry sauce in a while, but I’ve never made the cranberry sauce fresh. My Dad and his wife always make this delicious dish for us at Thanksgiving and I wanted to see how it turned out with essential oil. OH MY GOSH!!! It’s AWESOME SAUCE.
- 12 oz package of fresh cranberries
- 1 orange – use all of the juice and as much zest as you like, cut into strips
- 3/4 cup sugar
Put it all in a saucepan and simmer over medium heat until the cranberries burst and the sauce thickens, which only took about about 15-20 minutes. Allow to cool to room temperature before adding in:
- 3 drops Young Living Orange oil
- 2 drops Young Living Lemon or Jade Lemon.
It just kept getting tastier and tastier… The best was after the was oil mixed and it had been refrigerated a little while.

I can never go back to a can. The flavors are outRAGEous and we can see exactly what’s in our cranberry sauce…
